THE FOOTBALL CHALLENGE

The idea behind this event is to test each player’s ability in football. There are a number of different tasks that players have to perform, testing their ball control, speed, agility, flexibility and their knowledge of the game.

The event is open to all clubs that are affiliated to London Youth; for girls and boys, young men and young women, aged between eleven and sixteen years.

The challenge is about having fun while understanding the different disciplines in football.

5-A-SIDE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Championships supported by the Football Association is open to all Clubs affiliated to London Youth. This event is held over five weeks and attracts over one thousand players. Each year we see some electrifying and skilful play, along with good team spirit from players and spectators.

The tournament is open to players between the ages of eleven and nineteen years giving both girls and boys the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and represent their Club’s. Those who qualify in the London championships go on to the regional championships, representing London and London Youth. If they qualify in the regional, they go onto the National’s Championships representing London Youth, London and the south east of England playing against Clubs from all over England.
