CRICKET CHALLENGE

The 6-a-side cricket challenge is a dynamic two-day event; the first day is a preliminary round to decide who will qualify to the finals that are played at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground. A number of people make a day of it by having picnics as well as supporting their clubs.

The event is open to girls and boys, young men and young women. If you have entered any one of these categories you can also enter a youth worker team which is for the over 16’s (over the hill!)

KWIK CRICKET FESTIVAL

It is a great opportunity for young people to get a taster of cricket. The game is played with a plastic bat, safety ball and plastic wickets. Teams of six play against other clubs that are affiliated to London Youth. If teams are waiting to play, they have the opportunity to receive coaching on their technique in bowling, batting and fielding.

The event is open to both girls and boys aged between nine and twelve years. It is a fun day out and one that should not be missed.
