YouthWorks YouthWorks is the exciting project funded by the new youth volunteering charity v, with an aim to train a new generation of youth workers. Young people who access the programme will volunteer full time for 6 months in one of London Youth's Quality Marked clubs. During this time participants will take their Level 1 Foundation in Youth Work as well as taking part in four residentials and life coaching throughout to support them and enable personal development. The project is fully funded and volunteers are able to claim back all expenses through London Youth. To listen to an audio overview of the project click here >>> Keyfund The volunteer and their youth club supervisor both gain free training in Keyfund, London Youth’s cutting edge youth action model. This enables them to individually organise and run funded youth action projects with members of the youth club, where the budgets range from £250 to £2000. Coaching London Youth works with Striding Out to offer all full-time volunteers’ group and one to one coaching sessions, throughout the six month programme. Our hope is that this element will give time for volunteer’s personal development, making them a better volunteer and more inspiring role models. It will also give volunteers another tool to use when working with young people in their youth clubs and hopefully open up some interesting areas of thought and development.
