The role as residential nurse also benefits from having a wide range of support, because as a volunteer we want you to have fun as well!
In-house support available: Head of Activenture, Residential Coordinator, Activenture Office Team, other Activenture Nurses and the local London Youth Managers.
External support available: Local GP and Health Centre, Children Community Nurse and other professionals as required. We can also arrange for both on-site or telephone support by experienced Activenture volunteer nurses when possible.
We also recommend that you visit Activenture when we are in operation, so that you may meet one of our nurses, see what is required and ask questions.
All volunteers are required to have an Activenture enhanced CRB check, provide two character references before attending their first Activenture. We will organise this when it is necessary.
You must have attended induction training before your residential stay – either download an Induction Training Application Form with dates or go to the Induction Training page to find out more.
