We have been very fortunate to have been so well supported by establishments such as schools, colleges, the Metropolitan Police Cadets, Thames Valley and Sussex Police Forces and by many youth groups and individuals from across the south east.

Some have very kindly held fundraising events such as non-uniform days and many have invited Activenture to encourage their students to volunteer. Several schools and colleges have invited Activenture to provide a display at their volunteering events & Fresher Fayres. 

We are also very happy to give multi-media presentations to assemblies and individual classes and have been delighted by the student response from many schools and colleges, many of whom subsequently hosted our Induction Training Day at their premises.

Activenture is a registered placement for the Thames Valley Police Officer Training at Woodrow, also for Sussex Police at Hindleap Warren and for the British Transport Police at both sites.

We are very lucky to benefit from individuals and groups who kindly give us donations for a variety of reasons - for which we are extremely grateful. Most of our volunteers choose to give a donation to attend each week. Because we need to find every single penny in order to operate we have produced a new Voluntary Donation Form which includes the necessary Gift Aid information to enable us to claim an additional 28% of your original donation back from the tax man (provided that you are a UK tax payer). This doesn't affect you in any way other than the gratification that you will help us to raise even more money than you have donated! Therefore, if you are thinking about donating to Activenture, no matter how much, please consider completing this form and sending it with your donation.

Activenture is extremely popular and there is an ever-increasing demand for places, however providing these opportunities and running such a project is extremely expensive, calling for expert multi-staffing, good quality activities and special medical equipment.

With Activenture weeks operating during most school holidays and the amount of volunteer training required in between, its no wonder that our specialised equipment is well used and therefore has to be constantly serviced or replaced, plus the simplest of things such as disposable gloves, or craft materials all costs money, which soon mounts up.
