Activenture Plus is for those over the age of 18 years with impairments (physical/non physical). It is intended mainly for those who can cope with the majority of their own personal care although there will be an experienced staff team on hand to provide additional support at all times.

These events provide an opportunity to relax and/or participate in various outdoor activities such as archery, abseiling, zip wire, swimming and obstacle courses.

We tend to remain flexible with the programme to give each person a choice of activities to do as a group. This tends to be a very sociable occasion.

To apply, an Activenture Plus Booking Form must be completed for a placement (we are sorry but we are unable to accept any telephone reservations). When a signed booking form has been received and if we have sufficient places available, a more detailed Care Plan/Medical Form will be sent to you.

When the Care Plan/Medical Form has been completed, signed and returned, we will contact you if we require any further information or have any concerns. A few weeks prior to the stay, we will send you final joining instructions and a medical update form to be brought on arrival.

Please note completion of an Activenture Plus Booking Form does not guarantee a place – confirmation will be sent with a detailed Care Plan/Medical Form to be completed.

We release new dates on a 6 monthly basis for both guests and volunteers. This generally happens at the end of January and August.

In some rare circumstances an individual participant may not be suitable for Activenture for safety and / or care reasons – in this situation we will of course provide you with a full explanation.
