Woodrow High House

Appeals - Nurture with Nature

This appeal is designed to raise funds for 2 purposes:

To plant 400 trees in the 24 acres of grounds at Woodrow High House thereby replacing many trees which have been lost over recent years and ensuring that future generations of young people will also enjoy them.

To develop and improve access for young disabled people throughout the centre and the grounds in order that all visitors will have a memorable and beneficial visit.

By supporting the appeal donors will be investing in our future environment and in the development of those who will inhabit it. Hence Nurture with Nature.

We are looking for 400 donors who will donate £25 or more to the appeal and in return we will purchase, plant and nurture a tree in its early growth.

Anyone who is interested in sponsoring a tree can do so. Sponsoring may include local businesses, families, societies and clubs. There are many reasons why trees are sponsored, for example:

  • In memory of a friend or relative
  • To celebrate the birth of a child
  • To mark a special occasion
  • To help conserve the environment

"This is our future - please help us grow and develop our potential so that we might be responsible custodians for our environment and ensure that our world is a worthy place for future generations. - Please support the Nurture with nature Appeal"
