Peter Dennett is our Deputy Head of Centre at Hindleap Warren and first started working at the Centre in 1981. Peter has an honours and a teaching degree, is an International Mountain Leader, and... an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute of Outdoor Learning
Peter loves trees and mountains! He enjoys walks in the hills in summer and winter and even planned a holiday around visiting the world’s oldest tree! Last year’s holiday was cross country skiing 200km north of the Arctic Circle in Finland.
Tony is our Head of Centre at Hindleap Warren. His passion for the outdoors started when he visited an Outdoor Centre on a school residential trip and went canoeing, climbing and caving for the first time. He was immediately hooked... the rest is history!
When Tony qualified as a PE and Geography teacher he knew teaching in an Outdoor Centre would be the perfect thing to do. The Centre was Hindleap and that was October 1977. He's still there. Tony is married and has three grown up children.
Vanessa Lee is our Head of People, Planning and Information. Vanessa joined London Youth in November 2007 and leads on people matters relating to how London Youth manages and develops those who work here, coordinates the formation of our annual operational plan and manages the ICT network and systems.
Gary Hartin is our Head of Quality Standards and has been at London Youth since 11th April 2007. Gary is responsible for running the London Youth Quality Mark, a quality assurance programme nationally accredited by City and Guilds. The quality programme aims to support member clubs achieve a series of quality standards for good practice in the field of youth work
JasHothi is our Sports Development Officer for East London. Jas joined London Youth in January 2009. He has a HND in Sports Science and Business Management and Sports Science Degree from Coventry University.
