We have been very fortunate to have been so well supported by establishments such as schools, colleges, the Metropolitan Police Cadets, and many youth groups from across the south east.

Some have very kindly held fundraising events such as non-uniform days, and many have invited Activenture to encourage their students to volunteer. We are very happy to give multi-media presentations to assemblies and individual classes.

We have been delighted by the student response from so many schools and colleges, many of whom subsequently hosted our Induction Training Day at their premises (click for information). This further encouraged students and staff to participate together on this very practical and informative day.

Activenture is now a registered placement for the Thames Valley Police Officer Training at Woodrow. Following recent changes, police officer training is being managed locally and includes a total of 6 days community placement.

A St Johns Ambulance Link group based at the University of Sussex invited Activenture to run the Induction Day over 2 evenings, because there was so much interest from their group. It goes without saying that it poured with rain as we went outside to do a wheelchair handling session!

Several colleges have invited Activenture to provide a display at their volunteering events & Thresher Fayres. this has also led to being invited to return to give a talk to classes / courses involved with care, teaching, and community subjects. Kingston University asked us to give a presentation to all first and second year student nurses, and to encourage volunteering as an aid to seeking employment.
