Shane Franklin Shane Franklin joined London Youth in October 2008 to work on the Future Jobs Fund programme. Shane thoroughly enjoys working with diverse groups of young people from all walks of life and is keen to use their energy, passion and determination to secure sustainable employment through London Youth. The recession has left a large number of skilled and enthusiastic young people out of employment and through a number of the Youth Action team's initiatives, Shane is keen to combat this ongoing issue. Before joining London Youth Shane was a Qualitative Social Researcher working with young people and hard to reach communities to represent their views on social issues to government and public sector organisations on topics such as: drug abuse, religious extremism, sexual health and social exclusion.
