Claire Wells
Claire Wells is our Volunteer It Yourself (VIY) Coordinator and is responsible for the coordination and upscale of the award-winning VIY programme.
Claire is no stranger to London Youth; she first joined us in 2008 for a year with the Training Team and went onto coordinate the Positive Change programme for a further two years. In-between Claire leaving and coming back to us, she has run an employability project, has taught and assessed Youth Work across London, has volunteered with disabled adults in her local ‘east end’ community and most recently worked with homeless young people in supported housing.
Claire is very passionate about Youth Work and is in the third year of her part time Youth Work Degree with the Open University. She has also just qualified as a Youth Work Assessor.
