Mercers' Company Charter 600 prize
The Mercers’ Company is the City of London’s premier Livery Company and has very kindly donated a first and second prize to two deserving Getting Ready clubs.
In providing two cash prizes, The Charter 600 Charity of the Mercers’ Company, like London Youth, believe in the importance of encouraging and enabling young people to participate in and develop a love of sport and healthy activities.
The first prize of £500 has been awarded to Samuel Lithgow in Camden. Getting Ready has enabled them to provide a wide variety of sports and training opportunities to their young people, and also to access other external funding to enhance their facilities. Please download the full case study.
The Salmon Centre has been awarded the runner/up prize of £250 in order to provide some much needed sports kit to the young people who promise to wear with pride. Please download the full case study.
On behalf of Samuel Lithgow and the Salmon Centre, London Youth would very much to thank The Mercers’ Company for their ongoing support and generosity with this Award
